Costa Rica First Timer
This month one of our wonderful community is heading off to Costa Rica for her very first solo holiday, joining a dedicated solos only escorted tour exploring the very best of this extraordinary country. For a first adventure, a hosted group created purely for solo travellers can be the perfect place to begin. Everyone is travelling independently, so there is no awkwardness and no feeling of being the only one. With expert guidance throughout, carefully paced sightseeing and shared experiences that naturally encourage conversation, it provides reassurance and structure while still allowing space to grow in confidence.
The Two-Timer
Another of our ladies is about to embark on her second escorted journey, this time on a mixed tour through America’s spectacular national parks from San Francisco to Las Vegas. The group will include a blend of solo travellers, couples and friends, which often creates a relaxed and varied social dynamic. Having gained confidence on her first trip, she is now flying independently and we have added extra nights at the beginning and end so she can settle in comfortably. Seeing that quiet confidence develop is exactly why No Stopping Her exists.
Solo Cruisers
We also have ladies cruising. One is sailing with Virgin Voyages, which we often recommend for its adults only atmosphere, flexible dining and sociable spaces. It works particularly well for women who feel comfortable striking up conversations naturally, as there is no formal hosted solos programme. Another is travelling with Silversea Cruises, where smaller ships, exceptional service and a dedicated solos programme with hosted drinks and dinners offer something more structured and refined. Both are excellent choices, simply suited to different personalities and stages of confidence.
